Curia responds to allegations against priest. "Request for expulsion"

The Metropolitan "will submit a request to the Holy See to dismiss the accused priest from the clerical state," the spokesman for the Archdiocese of Warsaw told journalists.

Father Przemysław Śliwiński noted the "seriousness of the crime" and the fact that it caused "great social outrage." Therefore, Archbishop Galbas plans to take such a step "immediately." It is worth recalling that "dismissal from the clerical state" is the maximum penalty a cleric can receive in this case, taking into account the provisions of canon law.
